Sony introduces its Walkman S Series digital media players, the NW-S600 and NW-S700. Both flash memory-based digital audio player feature OLED display. The formats supported by these digital media player include MP3, AAC, WMA and Sony ATRAC formats. The battery life of digital audio players can last for 50 hours and the quick-charge function shorten the charging time.

The NW-S600 will be available in 1GB and 2GB two models and hit the Japanese market later in November. While the NW-S700 digital audio player has 1GB, 2GB and 4GB three models. Furthermore this NW-S700 digital audio player also gets FM turner which is a main difference from the NW-S600. The NW-S700 digital audio player will be available next week with several colors for about $242.
