Sonnet Technologies today unveiled a redesigned iPod nano cradle that comes bundled with its iFreq in-vehicle FM transmitter/charger that works with both first- and second-generation iPod nano players. The iFreq iPod nano FM transmitter features a design and mounting system that allow users to snap the cradle on or off an adhesive-backed magnetic disk that attaches to a vehicle's dashboard. The device utilizes the line-out signal from the iPod nano player to obtain a clean, consistent sound level, and is designed to provide a high signal-to-noise ratio with stereo separation, as well as extended frequency response. The body of the accessory integrates simple controls with a backlit display, which plugs directly into a cigarette lighter jack. iFreq iPod nano FM transmitter is compatible with all iPod music player models that feature a dock connector when used without the iPod nano player mounting cradle, and is available for $80.
